At PODPOPART, we make it easy to create custom products with your own designs. Follow this simple guide to upload your artwork and place your order in minutes.

What Can You Customize?

We offer custom printing on a wide range of products:

• T-Shirts — Unisex fit, sizes S to 5XL

Step 1: Choose Your Product

Browse our shop and select the product you want to customize. Click on the product, choose your size or color option, then click ‘Customize Now’ — this opens the Zakeke design tool.

Step 2: Use the Design Tool

Our Zakeke-powered design tool lets you:

• Upload your image — JPG, PNG, or SVG files work best
• Add text — Choose fonts, colors, and sizes
• Resize and position — Drag your design to the perfect spot
• Preview the print area — See exactly how your product will look

Step 3: Save & Add to Cart

Once you are happy with your design, click Save or Add to Cart. Your custom design is automatically saved with your order.

Step 4: Complete Your Order

Go to checkout, fill in your shipping details, and pay. We will receive your order with your uploaded design files attached.

File Requirements

• Format: JPG, PNG, or SVG
• Resolution: 300 DPI minimum for best print quality
• Size: At least 2000px on the longest side is recommended
• Color mode: RGB (not CMYK)

Important Notes

• By uploading a design, you confirm you have the right to use that image for printing
• We reserve the right to reject designs that violate intellectual property rights
• If you have any issues with your upload, we will contact you before production

1. Know Your Buyer Persona

Before you open Canva, ask: Who is my ideal customer? What do they value? What would they be embarrassed NOT to wear? The more specific your buyer persona, the more your designs will resonate.

2. Solve a Problem or Express an Identity

The best-selling POD products do one of two things: they solve a problem (funny fatigue quotes for exhausted parents) or they express identity (I’m a proud dog mom). Your design should make the buyer feel seen.

3. Keep It Simple and Scalable

Intricate, multi-color designs often don’t translate well to all-over printing or embroidery. Start with simple, clean designs that work across multiple product types.

4. Research Before You Create

Check Google Trends, Amazon bestsellers, and Etsy trending items in your niche. Design trends shift fast — what sold last year may not sell this year.

5. Test Multiple Mockups

Professional mockups sell products. Show your design on a real person or in a real setting. Avoid flat-lay generic mockups — lifestyle mockups convert at significantly higher rates.
